How it works

From your space to a
buildable plan

Three steps. No CAD, no designer, no measuring tape confusion. Just dimensions in, plan out.

The process

Three steps to a plan you can build

Takes about 5 minutes. You'll have a complete, buildable plan at the end.

📐

Describe your space

Dimensions, furniture type, any constraints like sloped ceilings or alcoves

AI generates your plan

Cut list, materials, hardware, and structural validation — all tailored to your exact space

🔧

Follow the instructions

Step-by-step build guide matched to your skill level. No guesswork

Step one

Tell us about your space

You describe what you want to build and where. No technical knowledge needed — plain language works.

Choose the type of furniture you need (shelf, wardrobe, alcove storage…)
Enter your space dimensions — width, height, depth
Note any constraints: sloped ceiling, an alcove corner, specific wall anchoring
Pick your material preference — plywood, MDF, or solid wood

Get a complete, validated plan

Kamba generates your plan in under a minute. Every dimension is calculated to fit your exact space, with structural checks built in.

Exact cut dimensions for every panel, adjusted for material thickness
Full materials list with quantities and what to buy
Hardware list — screws, dowels, cam locks, shelf pins
Structural checks: load capacity, deflection, racking resistance
Waste-optimised cut layout to save material cost
Generated cut list
Side panel × 2 200 × 30 cm
Top panel 78.4 × 30 cm
Bottom panel 78.4 × 30 cm
Shelf × 4 76.8 × 28.5 cm
Back panel 200 × 80 cm
Structurally validated · Hardware list included

Step three

Follow step-by-step instructions

Your plan includes a full assembly guide — written for beginners. Clear, numbered steps in the right order. No assumptions about experience.

Step-by-step assembly in the correct sequence
Plain-language tool callouts — no jargon
Critical notes on tricky steps (alignment, squaring, wall anchoring)

Assembly guide
1
Mark and pre-drill both side panels at each shelf position. Use a 4mm bit, 10mm deep.
2
Attach the bottom panel to the left side first. Apply wood glue, align flush, and drive 2 × 35mm screws per joint.
3
Add the right side panel, square the frame with a carpenter's square before tightening.
4
Install shelves at marked positions. Insert shelf pins into pre-drilled holes.
